(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. We are seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to
support a school environment in Flagstaff, AZ. This role requires
effective communication facilitation between deaf or
hard-of-hearing students and educators, ensuring an inclusive and
accessible learning experience. Key Responsibilities: Provide
accurate and clear sign language interpretation for classroom
instruction, school activities, and communications. Assist in
translating during parent-teacher conferences and school events as
needed. Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote an
accessible academic environment. Maintain confidentiality and
professionalism while interpreting sensitive information. Travel as
required to various school locations to fulfill interpretation
assignments. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Proficiency in
American Sign Language (ASL) and understanding of Deaf culture.
Previous experience interpreting in educational or similar settings
preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work
collaboratively with students, staff, and families. Flexibility to
travel within the region for different school assignments.
Certification or formal training in sign language interpretation is
a plus. Location: Flagstaff, Arizona, with travel to nearby schools
