About the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated
Individual, for the coordination of divisional machining and
research and development (R&D) operations. In this role, you
will partner with outside vendors to meet customer needs.
Work with machinists and procurement to ensure timelines and/or
deadlines are being met.
Review work requests/orders for clarity and accuracy. Helps
requestor select the correct priorities and provides feedback.
Communicate with various functional teams on a routine basis to
Track and report various metrics and data including capacity and
staffing levels, on-time reports, request quantities---
Back up for tooling coordinator.
Identify and proposes continuous improvements for the machining
Partner regularly with machining leaders to discuss needs,
opportunities and all other information required to run an
Qualifications - External
Minimum of 6 years machining experience.
Knowledge of shop equipment: EDM, NC mills, lathes, grinders,
Experience using Infor EAM or an equivalent work order system.
Proven time-management and prioritization skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and
Ability to read drawings and solid models with attention to
Proven ability to use computer systems including Microsoft Word,
Excel and Power Point.
Ability to work in plant 5 days/week.
Ability to travel up to 5%.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word,
Excel, Power Point
Experience utilizing Agile/Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Experience using SolidWorks
