OverviewThe Director of Data Integrations and Business Applications is responsible for the overall management and improvement of all business and data technology optimization efforts at Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH), including managing the business applications team. The Director will develop and implement systems and processes for data acquisition, management, and participate in governance at NAH. They will oversee data integration processes and lead strategic initiatives to enhance the organization's data capabilities. The Director supervises organizational support related to all business services and possesses operational knowledge surrounding processes, procedures, workflows, optimization, and departmental structure where applicable. The Director is expected to work independently and collaboratively with departmental leaders to scope, strategize, prioritize, resource, analyze root causes, and define all business and data strategies, roadmaps, adoption, and optimization efforts across all campuses and business lines. The Director must be willing to challenge inefficiencies and propose alternatives that reduce or eliminate inefficiencies while meeting organizational requirements. Demonstrating NAH values at all times is essential.Responsibilities

• Strategy, Planning, and Implementation

• Research and negotiate the best tools to support operations.
• Manage data integration between internal systems, applications, and external partners.
• Ensure smooth and secure data exchange, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Oversee implementation of data management tools, driving automation and efficiency.
• Support cross-functional teams in optimizing data flows and resolving integration challenges.
• Create and maintain efficient workflows.
• Help the organization achieve cost-cutting goals by presenting expertise and alternatives when appropriate.
• Maintain consistent communication with key organizational leaders and decision-makers, ensuring understanding of strategy and decisions before timelines are set.
• Department Management
  • Provide leadership, management, coaching, and strategic expertise to key leaders within ERP business areas, including Supply Chain, Finance, Business Intelligence, and Human Resources.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with NAH leadership, ensuring appropriate allocation of technical resources.
  • Build and enhance relationships with IT to establish the technical strategy for the organization.
  • Financial Management
    • Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts as appropriate.
    • Assist in annual budgeting processes for responsible IT teams.
    • Ensure project and department milestones and goals are met within approved budgets.
    • People Management
      • Hire, evaluate performance, and develop staff.
      • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
      • Establish and monitor team goals and objectives.
      • Approve time and PTO weekly.
      • Create opportunities to celebrate staff, providers, and peers' accomplishments.
      • Challenge ideas and opinions to develop optimal support.
      • Compliance and Safety
        • Report safety incidents timely and attend safety training programs.
        • Perform work safely and monitor the environment for safety issues.
        • Stay current with and comply with relevant regulations and policies.
        • Ensure certifications/licenses are up-to-date if required.
        • Complete mandatory training modules within designated timeframes.Qualifications
          • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Required)
          • Experience: 3-5 years in Healthcare IT (Required), 8+ years in healthcare IT (Preferred), Project Management experience (Preferred), 2 years in a management role (Preferred)
