The Nurse Educator will facilitate staff in-patient education endeavors, and they will integrate and reinforce key aspects of patient safety into orientation programs, education programs, and work environment activities. Every year this hospital throws a Safety Fair which promotes safety programs, culturally sensitive patient education information. This Nurse Educator will assist in the coordination of the annual safety fair and help plan events/build programs. The Clinical Educator will assess educational needs and facilities educational sessions/programs for nursing staff related to: Clinical practice
New products/equipment, and National patient safety goals/core measures. The Clinical Nurse Educator will assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of new strategies to improve the delivery of nursing care. This hospital is looking for a Nurse Educator who can implement and facilitate clinical based orientation for new nursing staff for assigned areas, collaborate in the ongoing evaluation of nursing orientation curriculum and content, and assist in identifying educational needs of all nursing staff in assigned areas.
