Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR LOCATION: FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA POSITION OVERVIEW: The Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC) reports to the Director of Research and is responsible for coordinating and implementing assigned protocols in compliance with FDA CFR, GCP and company SOPs. The CRC collects and records clinical research data, assists in patient assessments, scheduling, maintain study files, study supplies and study medication accountability. We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our Flagstaff, AZ clinical team As a CRC, you are responsible for oversight and conduct of multiple clinical trials. You respond to internal and external client issues, concerns, and requests, ensuring smooth execution of the study protocol. You will independently manage clinical studies to ensure timelines are being met (i.e. recruiting, data management, etc.), participating in study initiation meetings, problem solving as needed during study conduct, and meeting with monitors as needed throughout study. You will be responsible for ensuring general research coordinator duties are satisfactorily completed, which include but are not limited to recruiting patients and meeting recruitment goals, performing patient visits, medical procedures (blood draw, vitals, ECG), attaining knowledge of each assigned study protocol, and handling of biological samples. Given the autonomous nature of the work, as well as the needs for detailed project management, communication and technical skills, we prefer those with an existing professional background in clinical research or direct patient care. Prior research experience isn't required, but is a strong plus. This is a fully onsite position, working at our Flagstaff, AZ clinic. Minimum Qualifications: -- Associates Degree, or equivalent -- Must have in-depth knowledge of medical procedures and clinical terminology -- CPR certified -- Possess strong organizational skills -- Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with all providers and research subjects -- Maintains confidentiality of patient and study information -- Excellent working knowledge of ICH-GCP Guidelines and all Federal regulations -- Understands and supports specific State regulations governing clinical research -- Excellent verbal and written communication skills -- Ability to lift 20 pounds -- Willing and able to travel for Investigator Meetings and other AARR sites Company Description Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology is the largest private rheumatology practice in the US.
