Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a local contract job in

10 days per month (September-January)
Flexible on shifts
Work Details:
- Support Staff: Surgeon
- Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 4 days, 7a-3p plus call
3p-7a
- Patients per day: 10-15 CVICU/step down patients, plus 1-2
surgeries
- Patient Population/Age: adult/geron
- Department Description: CT Surgery
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements:
- Board Certification:
- License Required: yes
- DEA: yes
- Minimum Experience Required: 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery
with EVH
Graduate from a university program approved by the National
Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants ( NCCPA) -
Required
Or
Master's Degree in Nursing- Required
Certification & Licensures
Certified or certification eligible by the National Commission on
Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).- Required
*Licensure or eligible for licensing as a Physicians Assistant in
the State of Arizona- Required
*ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)- Required
OR
*Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program -
Required
*Completion of a RN/NP First Assistant Program- Required
*Current unrestricted Arizona APRN license- Required
*Medical Surgical or NP ANCC or AANP Certification- Required
*ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)- Required
Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
