  • Job Details
  • Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation, a JCAHO accredited health center, provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations.
  • The hospital was constructed in 1975 with a bed capacity of 73.
  • Services provided to the community include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures.
  • Approximately 49% of the surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory surgical procedures.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have an Associates degree in respiratory care or have equivalent education (certificate of completion in respiratory care)
    • Must have two (2) years of experience in respiratory care at a general/acute hospital.
    • Must have and maintain a current valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
    • Must have and maintain a current valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any state of the United States of America, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
    • Must have and maintain a current valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
      • Schedule Information
      • Work hours are 24-hour coverage rotational, day or night shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
      • Facility currently has a low COVID census.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or respiratory therapist is an individual trained in the technical aspects of respiratory care and will exhibit those skills and deliver modalities of respiratory therapy, emergent and intensive respiratory care, and diagnostic procedures.
          • Additional Details
          • ORIENTATION: Every two (2) weeks only.
          • COVID EXEMPTIONS: We do not accept religious exemptions. If a candidate submits for a medical exemption, we will have to get approval from our medical review board to proceed with onboarding.
