Information $2,558 per week About The Position Job Title: Intensive
Care / Coronary Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care
/ Coronary Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: All shifts Hours per
Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of prior ICU experience
License: Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License
(RN) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American
Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the
American Heart Association - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
from the American Heart Association (must be completed within six
months of hire) - Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) (must be
completed within six months of hire) - National Institutes of
Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (must be completed within six months of
hire) Must-Have: - Associate Degree in Nursing Description: This
position is primarily within the Intensive Care Unit and may
involve floating to other areas in case of low census. The nurse
provides care to critically ill patients. Responsibilities include
performing a variety of nursing care procedures requiring
professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient
conditions and treatments. The nurse must be able to work
independently in completing assignments. Guidelines include
doctors' orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures
manuals, and hospital policies. Nursing duties include providing
inpatient care and support in the Intensive Care Unit to
individuals of all ages and their families. The nurse will assist
with after-hours recovery of post-operative patients as needed.
This role involves working in a diverse community, providing
comprehensive nursing care to enhance patient outcomes.
