Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: MRI Technologist Facility: Pine Bluff, AR 71603 Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Shift – 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,246.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $1,000.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,246.00 Per Week Job Duties – MRI Technologist Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Patient Preparation & Care: Educate and prepare patients for MRI exams, assess for contraindications, and monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Image Review & Quality Control: Evaluate images for clarity and completeness; ensure adherence to imaging standards and promptly address any issues. Documentation & Charting: Accurately document procedures, contrast usage, and patient information using the facility’s imaging or charting systems. Team Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. Call & Compliance Responsibilities: Participate in after-hours and weekend call rotation; maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
