Growing together. /n /n Primary Responsibilities for Adult Outpatient Primary Care: /n /n - Examines diagnoses and treats patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses /n - Counsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns /n - Documents items such as: chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan /n - Formulates diagnostic and treatment plans /n - Prescribes and administers medications, therapies, and procedures /n - Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow up /n - Responsible for the coordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services /n - Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner /n - Maintains quality of care standards as defined by the practice /n - Supervise Physician Assistant /n /n /n You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: /n /n - Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date /n - Board certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice /n - Current and unrestricted DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start date. /n - Effective communication skills /n - Outstanding organization skills and ability to multi-task /n - Takes Initiative, creative, has problem solving ability, is adaptable, and flexible /n - Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously /n - Ability to work in fast-paced environment /n /n /n Preferred Qualifications: /n /n - 1 years of Outpatient Clinic experience /n - Managed Care / IPA / Health Plan experience /n /n /n The salary range for this role is $226,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
