Job Title: Dialysis RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years Minimum License: Active, unrestricted RN License or valid, participating compact license Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Inpatient dialysis experience required - Experience with Aqua caddy RO and Fresenius T-Bluestar Description: The position is for a Dialysis RN. Shifts are 3x12 hour days from 7 AM to 7 PM. On-call duty is required for two days per week. Every other weekend coverage is mandatory. First-time travelers are accepted. Guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week. The facility can call off staff up to six times during a 13-week assignment. Candidates must possess inpatient dialysis experience. Skills required include the ability to cannulate AV fistula and AV grafts. Experience in acute care hemodialysis is essential. Floating to other units is expected based on the job description. Candidates must be comfortable with unblocked scheduling. References must be provided prior to the start of the assignment. Charting experience with Cerner is preferred.
