Physician Assistant Job Details Location: Flagstaff, AZ 86001 (Arizona healthcare jobs) Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center, 269 beds Contract Dates: October 16, 2025 – October 23, 2025 (7-day locum tenens assignment) Employment Type: Locum Tenens Physician Assistant (Travel Contract) Shifts: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (6:00pm – 6:00am) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $3980 - $4270 Patient Census: 10–15 adult trauma patients per shift EMR: Cerner Physician Assistant Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Physician Assistant in trauma surgery or acute care settings Board Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) Active Arizona PA license or proof of application (Arizona PA jobs preferred) DEA license required ATLS certification required COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Ability to complete hospital credentialing within 30 days Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive trauma and surgical care to adult patients in a high-acuity hospital environment Perform patient assessments, procedures, and documentation in collaboration with trauma surgeons Manage acute injuries and provide critical care support Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate charting and patient management Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate effectively with the trauma healthcare team Ensure timely completion of medical records and case documentation Why Choose Flagstaff, AZ?
