for a travel nursing job in Show Low, Arizona. Job Description &

hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Position Overview - Role:
RN – Med Surg (Telemetry/PCU-capable unit) - Setting: Acute Care -
Shift: 12-hour Nights (3x12s) - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week (with
up to 3 cancellations per 13-week period) - Contract Length: 13
weeks (noted as 91 days) - Floating: To all Med Surg units if
needed - Charting: Allscripts - Sunrise Unit Details - Bed Count:
18 (Telemetry with 6 PCU-capable beds; all private rooms) - COVID
Unit: May house COVID patients (air handling, temp walls) - Common
Diagnoses: - AMI - Stroke/TIA - Pneumonia - Renal/Dialysis - A-fib
RVR - SIRS - Diabetes Staffing & Ratios - RN Ratios: - Telemetry:
1:4 - PCU/Stepdown: 1:3 - Support Staff: - Charge Nurse 24/7 (takes
0–2 patients if needed) - CNAs (split unit, up to 9 patients each)
- Monitor Techs, HUCs, PCTs - Respiratory Therapy: 24/7 - Pharmacy:
24/7 - No IV team - In-house Hospitalist: 24/7 Clinical Skills &
Equipment - Monitoring: - Phillips monitors - Nurses verify
interpretations from monitor techs & document q4h or PRN - Meds
Used: - Cardizem - Amiodarone - Bumex - Lasix - Integrilin -
Octreotide - Protonix - Respiratory Support: - High-flow O2 - Home
CPAP (no vents) Scheduling & Orientation - Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend - Nights: Friday & Saturday - Orientation: 2–3
days with a preceptor ? Requirements - Experience: - 1 year
required - 2 years preferred - Must have Tele & acute Med Surg
experience - Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - NIHSS -
License: Active RN license (willing to wait for processing) - BSN:
