Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/29/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: 10-hour shift per day from 6:30am - 5pm; 4 days a week (weekdays); with on-call. This position requires rotational scheduling and on-call (night, weekend, and holiday) Work Experience: coverage upon successful completion of established didactic and clinical requirements, required exams, and the discretion of the OR SCN. Position requirements include, performing basic duties of a surgical technologist. Assist with positioning, surgical prepping, and draping of the surgical patient. Responsibilities include setting up an operating room before surgery and ensuring all needed equipment and instrumentation is available and in working condition for the scheduled surgical procedure. Surgical specialties include: General Surgery, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Podiatry, Urology, etc. for adult and pediatric patients License: National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA 3yr) – or Surgical Technologist Certification (CST), or current certification from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT-3yr 6240 hours) – Certified Tech in Surgery (TS-C) Certifications: BLS/CPR Certification.
