seeking a Quality Assurance Nurse. Schedule options include 7 AM -
3 PM, 8 AM - 4 PM, or 8 AM - 5 PM, with varied weekends potentially
required. This position will cover Quality Assurance, Staff
Education, and Infection Prevention responsibilities. The role
involves implementing policies and procedures related to quality
assurance using applicable regulations and practices. The nurse
will gather and analyze data through audits, interviews, and other
activities to monitor compliance across all services. They will
review monthly reports and develop performance improvement plans as
necessary. Preparation and distribution of reports, statistical
analyses, and summaries will also be part of the role. The Quality
Assurance Nurse will assist managers in developing and implementing
corrective action plans. They will monitor facility plans for
correcting deficiencies identified by regulatory agencies. Ensuring
compliance with applicable regulations is crucial. The nurse will
investigate incidents of non-compliance and work on allegations of
abuse, neglect, and mistreatment. Coordination of facility
preparation for surveys and relevant committee meetings is
required. Identifying training needs and developing educational
programs for staff related to quality assurance and compliance is
essential. Utilizing assessment protocols to evaluate training
quality and ensure adequate staff training to meet desired outcomes
is part of the duties. Maintaining records to document training and
compliance with regulations is required. Daily infection control
surveillance rounds will be conducted to ensure compliance with
care plans. Staying informed with current information and attending
educational opportunities provided by regulatory agencies is
necessary. Knowledge of management principles, quality assurance
methods, and nursing regulations is required. Skills in verbal and
written communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking are
essential. The ability to analyze information, work across all
organizational levels, and coordinate training programs is
