Care Location: Prescott Valley, AZ Agency: Mindlance Health Pay:
$2,197 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the
Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find
a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Prescott Valley, Arizona,
86312! ID: 74955968 Shift: 12H Nights EOW, nights, first to float
Description: Unit Review Manager InterviewClinician must take and
pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing
contract. If clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, then
they will be DNU for CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months. Radius
Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or
PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI
and/or Dignity within the past year.Cannot have worked perm at
another CommonSpirit facility within the last 12 monthsUnit- Multi
Care Unit Level of care is within on unit for all three acuities
(not floating between units)- of beds: 10- Ratios: Depends on the
acuity as this is a combined acuity unit: ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST
1:5-6, if no nurse aid for 1:3 primary care. - Required
certifications: BLS, ACLS- Common diagnoses/Types of
patientsMedical ICU: Sepsis, suicide attempt, drug or Alcohol
withdrawal, COPD, respiratory arrest, pneumonia, COVID, DKA, blood-
Pressure or heart rate abnormal. Post op complications- PCU:
non-titratable infusions to maintain heart rate or blood Pressure.
- Experience or 'Must have' skillsWill need at least 2 year of ICU
experience. Will take one year of ICU and one year of PCU/ Med surg
if they have worked in larger facilities. and have strong skills.-
Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes- Common titratable &/or
set rate drips: Sedation, vasopressors, insulin- Charge Nurse/House
Supervisor: Charge RN manages 50 inpatient beds that include MST,
PEDS, & our Acuity Adaptable MCU unit which admits ICU/PCU/MST- Are
there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: NAs take 10-15 patients. If
no NA RN takes 3 patients and Provides primary care to PCU & MST
patients. - RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Yes, RT will
support- Vents, Bipap, Cpap. Is there tele on this unit? Monitor
Techs? RNs read strips?Yes. We have Remote Monitor Techs for PCU &
MST patients.- RNs must take 12-lead EKG. ICU patients, RN monitors
per- Bedside Cardiac monitor. ICU must monitor ICU patients. -
Shifts & Scheduling: 12-hour shifts, 0700/1900 1930/0730- Weekend
Requirementevery other weekend, Friday and Saturday for Nights,
Saturday and Sunday for dayshift.- Holiday Requirement: Holiday
rotation to distribute holidays fairly- Is there a call or standby
requirement?: If low census, staff rotates standby turns- Floating
RequirementsFloat to our EC MST & Pediatric unit to care for adult
MST, also- Float to our West Campus in Prescott to care for ICU &
PCU to maintain competency in caring for all types of ICU/PCU
Patients. Would take full med surg team 1:5, Could go to peds to
take adult assignment there. Can float to west ICU/ PCU - two hour
notice before floating- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Currently can wear
any scrub color except camouflage- Unit/Department specific
orientation: Attend hospital orientation, unit orientation based on
Cancellation Policy:4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract is
under 13 weeks Charting BSN License to Trauma Level: Care Shift ,
nights, first to float Required , BLS Certification Guaranteed
