Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Details: • Work three 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM including weekends • Guaranteed 40 hours per week with facility allowed to call off 6 times throughout 13-week assignment • Block scheduling with weekend coverage required • 2:1 patient ratios for both days and nights • Float requirement to TASC (Ambulatory Surgical Center) within hospital premises • Care for all age groups from pediatric to geriatric patients • Work in facility with 6 preop bays, 8 PACU bays, and 4 Phase II bays • Handle phase I and phase II PACU patients, both ambulatory and inpatient • 2 years of nursing experience required • Active unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS • CPAN certification preferred • Cerner charting system experience preferred • Trauma Level I and II experience required • 48-hour orientation period • Scrubs provided for PACU RNs • Free parking available • No on-call requirements • First-time travelers accepted Facility: This 268-bed short-term acute care facility operates as a teaching hospital with Level I trauma designation and Magnet recognition.
