This ongoing contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting, providing specialized care for adult patients with cardiac rhythm disturbances. In this role, you will perform complex electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and heart rhythm management, utilizing advanced technology such as the Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system. Your expertise will directly influence patient outcomes by diagnosing and treating arrhythmias effectively. The position requires working with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring top-tier patient care. Key Skills & Qualifications: Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology or Electrophysiology AZ State License (or eligible to license) DEA registration in Arizona ACLS certification Minimum of 1 year of electrophysiology clinical experience Proficiency in cardiac ablation procedures, especially Ablations, with demonstrated case logs of at least 100 EP cases in the past 2 years Comfort performing moderate sedation independently Experience with Cerner EMR system Strong understanding of heart rhythm disturbances and ablation techniques Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with TEE procedures Familiarity with intracardiac mapping systems and catheter techniques Ability to work independently with moderate sedation Strong communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Education & Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution Proven track record with higher volume EP caseloads Additional certifications in advanced cardiac procedures Other Requirements: Availability to start on 02/02/2026 Willingness to work a schedule of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, including potential overtime and holiday shifts at 1.5x pay Ability to complete credentialing within approximately 30 days This is an outstanding opportunity to advance your electrophysiology career while providing essential cardiac care.
