Coronary Nurse (ICU) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care

per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum of 3 years in
ICU License: Must hold a current valid unrestricted Professional
Nursing License (RN) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS)
from the American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) from the American Heart Association - Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association - Must be
completed within six months of hire - Trauma Care After
Resuscitation (TCAR) - Must be completed within six months of hire
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Must be completed within six months of hire Must-Have: - Prior
ICU experience - Ability to provide nursing care to critically ill
patients - Competence in working independently and completing
assignments Description: The position is primarily within the
Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will occasionally float to other
areas as needed. Responsibilities include providing inpatient care
and support in the ICU to individuals of all ages and their
families. The nurse will also provide after-hours recovery care for
post-operative patients. This role requires professional knowledge
of specific patient conditions and treatments. Guidelines include
following doctors' orders, standards of care, and nursing policies.
