Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Variable, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 9, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with at least 3 years of ICU experience and an active AZ or compact RN license for a rural Arizona hospital assignment. Details - Work in a 5-bed Intensive Care Unit serving critically ill patients of all ages - Float required to ED, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics as needed based on census - All shifts available - Periodic after-hours recovery for post-op general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients - Rural hospital setting serving a culturally diverse community Requirements - Active AZ or compact RN license in good standing - Minimum of 3 years ICU nursing experience required - Associate Degree in Nursing required - Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association - PALS, TCAR, and NIHSS certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire - Must complete required fingerprinting process prior to start Additional Information - Shared contractor housing may be available; application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start and housing is not guaranteed - No pets or family members allowed in provided housing - COVID-19 and flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with signed declination forms - Every two weeks orientation schedule - Work within a supportive team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals American Traveler Job ID P-668583.
