ICU/Critical Care RN in Show Low, Arizona, 85901! Job Title: ICU
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive
Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift:
12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License:
Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have:
Experience with basic ICU equipment Description: Unit consists of
12 beds. Patient-to-nurse ratio typically 1:2. The shift runs from
1800 to 0630. Modified self-scheduling is available. Staff may
block schedule as needed. Weekend requirement includes 3 weekend
shifts per 4-week schedule minimum. Floating to Emergency
Department or Medical-Surgical units may occur if experienced.
Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Common cases
include pneumonia, ventilation management, post-catheterization
care, and acute respiratory distress syndrome. Patients may present
with various conditions such as sepsis, renal failure, and
complications from substance use. Common drips utilized in the unit
include Amiodarone, Cardizem, Levophed, and Insulin. Critical
equipment includes various monitoring and support devices. A House
Supervisor is available on-site 24/7. There are no holiday
requirements specified. Candidates should possess experience with
basic ICU equipment and familiarity with common ICU cases and
