Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Show Low, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts with 36-hour weekly guarantee /n• 3 cancellations allowed per 13-week assignment /n• Work on 24-bed medical-surgical unit with telemetry capability on all beds with heavy focus on telemetry /n• Care for adult patients only (pediatric patients assigned to permanent staff) /n• Must have strong neurology and cardiac skills /n• 2 years of nursing experience required /n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS /n• PALS certification preferred /n• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5 during days, 1:6 during nights, 1:4 for pediatrics based on acuity level /n• Float to all medical-surgical units and ICU when taking medical-surgical overflow patients /n• Use Allscripts Sunrise EMR system for charting /n• Support staff includes telemetry technicians, charge nurse, health unit coordinators, and patient care technicians /n• No IV team available - nurses handle IV responsibilities /n• Scrubs required in any color except all black (scrubs not provided) /n• Work in Level 3 trauma acute care setting /n/n Facility: /n This regional medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with 24/7 hospitalist coverage and round-the-clock support services including respiratory therapy and pharmacy. The facility maintains a collaborative care environment with dedicated support staff and management who actively participate in patient care through regular rounds.
