working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Prescott,
Arizona, 86301! Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Experience: Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in a surgical
environment License: Active RN license required Certifications:
ACLS and BLS for RNs Must-Have: Experience in scrubbing required;
familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Cerner; skills necessary
to work in both OR and CVOR. Description: The unit performs an
average of 20-30 cases per day. Common cases include total joints,
general surgery, spine, urology, and cardiovascular procedures for
open heart teams. A charge nurse and specialty leads are available
as resources. The house supervisor is on-site 24/7. Scrub techs are
available to assist. Weeknight call requirement is 5-10 times per 6
weeks for CVOR. Weekend call requirement includes 2 weekends per 6
weeks. Holiday call includes 2-3 twelve-hour shifts per year. Call
is divided equally among staff in similar roles. Call response time
is 30 minutes. Travelers may be floated to other departments for
assistance with tasks and patient support, though this is rare.
Hospital-provided scrubs are mandatory. Unit-specific orientation
consists of 3-5 shifts, based on case load and exposure. The
hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts during a
