Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an
acute or sub-acute facility License: Valid, current, full, and
unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any state of the United
States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the
United States Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Complete Trauma Care After
Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire - NIH Stroke Scale
(NIHSS) within six months of hire Must-Have: Must possess
professional knowledge and the ability to work independently in
completing assignments. Description: The Clinical Nurse performs a
variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge
and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments.
Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their
families. Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care,
nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies.
Candidates must have strong clinical skills and the ability to
respond to changes in patient conditions. This position requires
effective communication and teamwork among staff. The role supports
a diverse environment with a focus on culturally competent care.
Candidates will have an opportunity to work within a team of
healthcare professionals dedicated to providing quality care. The
