Job Description:
$20.79/hr, 40 hrs/wk, 52 wks/yrPOSITION SUMMARY:Working under
administrative supervision and with moderate difficulty this
position is responsible for processing NACOG's bi-weekly payroll.
This position has added fiscal responsibilities, including: lease
administration, journal entry posting, and report
preparation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Processes regular
bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls for the entire agencyAudits travel
reimbursement requests to ensure completeness and
complianceGenerates all payroll- and tax-related reportsPrepares
month-end reports for various departmentsProcesses monthly
insurance premium paymentsResearches and resolves payroll-related
issuesMaintains payroll records to ensure policy complianceResponds
to requests for information (i.e., reports, verifications)Prepares
and/or posts various journal entriesAdministers agency leases,
including: Payments, lease renewals, and postingsCoordinates the
monthly credit card expense reporting processPrepares provider
invoicesPosts cash management transactions (i.e. deposits,
transfers)Provides back-up support to senior accounting technician,
as neededAssists with Finance Department audits, policies and
procedures, and trainingOther related duties as assigned.EDUCATION
AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Associate's Degree from an accredited college or
university in accounting or other related field of study; OR an
equivalent combination of education, training, and experience and 2
years related professional experience and/or training in payroll
accounting which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of

ENVIRONMENT:Physical Activity: Frequent sitting, talking,
listening, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing,
walking, lifting, finger use, grasping, feeling, and repetitive
motion. Occasional kneeling, crawling, pushing, and
pulling.Physical exertion: ___ Sedentary; _X_ Light; ___Medium; __
Heavy; __ Very Heavy. Work involves exerting up to 20 pounds of
force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently,
and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move

conditions: Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental
