$18.86 - 22.63/hr (DOE), 40 hrs/wk, 52 wks/yrNACOG now offers a NEW Employee Hiring Incentive of $1,000 for this positionPOSITION SUMMARY:Working under general supervision and with moderate difficulty this position is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.Identifies and implements recruitment methods and strategies and evaluates current and potential markets based on the position job requirements, industry standards, best practices, and the needs of the Agency.Post and advertise job vacancies to promote and ensure NACOG branding and enhance online recruitment presence.Monitor, follow up with incoming applications via job boards and NACOG Employment portal and maintain communication with applicants.Responsibility for being the first point of contact for candidates, delivering exceptional candidate care and ensuring that candidates are effectively pre-screened before inclusion into the recruitment process.Coordinates candidate review packets for distribution to hiring managers.Maintain and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure interview questions and other recruitment and selection materials are up to date.Schedules interviews and competency testingConducts reference checks and education verification.Collaborates with hiring manager and recommended candidate to facilitate offer of employment.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies in relation to recruitment processes.Represents the agency job/career fairs and recruiting sessions.Stay up to date on current and emerging recruitment and sourcing trends to ensure NACOG is reaching target audiences.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, or a related discipline, and two years' experience in recruitment; OR any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:Criminal Background CheckFingerprint Clearance Card, Level IMotor Vehicle Report (annually)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Human Resources CertificatePHR - Professional in Human ResourcesSHRM-CP - SHRM Certified ProfessionalCERTIFICATES & LICENSES:N/ATECHNICAL COMPENCIES:Microsoft Officee.
