Compensation: Hourly rate $18.25/hour with merit-based
compensation. Benefits : Free Club Membership for eligible
dependents, Paid birthday off (available after completion of 30
days of employment) Reports To: Native Services Director Sites:
Dormitories in Winslow and Holbrook Hours: Must be available Monday
- Friday, 3:00 PM-7:00 PM MST. Hours vary depending on program, may
include weekends. Purpose of Position: The Boys & Girls Club of
Flagstaff Native Services Program is looking for a Site Program
Coordinator for our afterschool programs at our Winslow and
Holbrook extension sites. We rely on the dedication of caring
employees to provide a safe, nurturing environment for teens to
learn and grow. Under the supervision of the Native Services
Director, you will lead program areas and provide young people with
a fun, safe place to foster academic success, good character and
leadership, and healthy lifestyles. We are looking for someone who
is upbeat, likes working with teens, and is ready to participate in
all of our activities. In this role, you will: Prepare Teens for
Success Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of
Teen Development Outcomes by: ?Promoting and stimulating
participation in assigned programs and activities ?Assisting teens
with goal setting and skills development ?Providing guidance and
role modeling to teens ?Providing responsible mentorship for teens
?Providing proper supervision of teens in your care Develop and
Implement Programs Enable BGCF Native Services to provide quality,
developmentally appropriate programs by: ?Conducting daily
outcome-oriented programs for teens, including facilitating
programs ?Monitoring and evaluating assigned programs, services and
activities to ensure safety of members, quality in programs and
appearance of site at all times ?Preparing weekly progress reports,
administering surveys, tracking progress, and making continuous
program improvements to assigned programs ?Providing direct
supervisor with regular updates regarding program activities,
including a weekly progress report Provide Secondary Site Support
Work with Native Services team as a cohesive unit to support the
success of the organization by: ?Maintaining standards of child
safety ?Promoting active teen participation in programs, including
member recruitment ?Working with teens, parents/guardians, BGCF
staff and volunteers, and Dormitory staff as needed ?Commitment to
professional development by completing all assigned trainings
?Assisting in regular facility maintenance, including but not
limited to: cleaning, tidying, organizing and moving Club property
?Checking in teens as they arrive at designated Club sites
?Answering phone calls and greeting visitors, as needed ?Maintain
inventory of program supplies Required Qualifications ?Must be at
least 21 years of age and have valid identification, for insurance
purposes ?Must have clean driving record ?Must use personal vehicle
to travel to extension sites, work travel is eligible for mileage
reimbursement ?Must pass background checks and drug screening ?Must
provide 3 professional references ?Knowledge and cultural awareness
of local Native American tribe’s traditions and customs. ?Ability
to effectively interact, mentor, and communicate with teens between
13-18 years of age in a manner that will inspire respect and
confidence ?A commitment to continuous learning and growth Desired
Qualifications ?Updated CPR and First Aid Certifications ?Food
Handler Certifications ?Background and experience with teen program
planning and facilitation ?Customer service skills for interacting
with Dormitory staff, BGCF staff and volunteers, community
partners, parents ?Ability to take initiative and is proficient in

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is
occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is
occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, wind, extreme
cold and to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work
