are looking for a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
Programmer\Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will
support the Medical Product Division's manufacturing and Research &
Development (R&D) operations. This role will be located at our
facility in Flagstaff, Arizona. Please note that evening, night and
weekend shift positions are eligible for an additional $2/hour
shift differential pay (in California, the shift differential pay
is $2.40/hour). Medical, Dental and Vision benefits effective on
Day 1 of employment! Responsibilities:
- Work with Technicians to develop processes to support the
removal, repair/calibration and return of tooling to
manufacturing
- Inspect tooling\parts\manufacturing aids to meet manufacturing
specifications while following approved standard operating
procedures (SOP's)
- Work closely with engineering on inspection related issues
- Work with multiple teams across the division including
production, skilled trades, and technical associates with the dual
purpose of maximizing schedule efficiency, striving to meet
deadlines to minimize manufacturing down times
- Coordinate and communicate work activities with alternating
shifts\teams -
- Ensure applicable Quality System requirements are being met and
document inspection records in Quality System software (EAM)
- Maintain technical knowledge of industry standards for
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and develop CMM programming
best practices Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of -a 2 year technical degree plus a minimum of 2 years
-machine shop or inspection experience OR 5 years -experience
working in inspection and/or machine shop
- Proficient in the use of mechanical based measuring and test
equipment (Calipers, Micrometers)
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical
documentation/drawings
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and
multi-task
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team
environment -utilizing effective oral & written communication
skills
- Ability to train others and modify training to accommodate
learning preferences
- Ability to -lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to travel up to 10% Desired Qualifications:
- OGP smart scope software experience -
- GD&T and print reading; proficient programming coordinate
measuring machines -such as video measurement systems
