Details can be found on the HR website.Job DescriptionIT Support Analyst, IntermediateThe Finance Services area supports the users of ETC district members in the implementation and daily use of the PowerSchool (formerly SunGard) BusinessPlus software. All funding is provided by ETC members. This position performs a broad scope of application and accounting activities to support users of the software. The successful candidate must be customer service focused, outgoing, and enjoy working on a team in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to provide customer service support on BusinessPlus software in the areas of payroll, human resources, employee contracts, budgeting, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and stores inventory. While this position is based in Flagstaff, some limited travel around the state may be required. Provide software support to school districts throughout Arizona. Support user functions with all area of BusinessPlus software.Assist users with day-to-day questions and problem resolutions in a manner consistent with quality customer support.Become knowledgeable in the procedures established by the Financial Services area and accounting recommendations in accordance with the requirements of the Uniform System of Financial Records for Arizona School Districts.Provide general calculations and analysis support in various payroll, accounting and HR functions.Process maintenance routines and reporting for districts members, including quarter-end processing, year-end closing, W-2 and 1099s submissions, and next fiscal year file preparation in compliance with pertinent procedures and regulations.Provide user training for new and existing software implementations. Assist Senior Specialist in developing training and documentation materials and provide onsite or web-based training for users.Participate in measures to improve customer support, communication and professionalism.With assistance from the Senior Specialist, perform software testing. OR,Associates Degree and three years experience working with computer applications, fund accounting, HR or Payroll in an office environment. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, are fundamental to the position.Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new technologies use and be able to provide support.Experience in an environment similar to the Service Desk, providing phone, remote and occasionally, in-person support to a diverse customer-base for a wide variety of technologiesStrong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation is a must.
