Description PURPOSE OF POSITION: To ensure guest, homeowners and employee satisfaction in Housekeeping. To provide a safe environment for our guests, homeowners and employees. To achieve budgeted profitability by adhering to Service and Safety Standards and exercising fiscal responsibility and sound management practices.

SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS:

Previous supervisory experience required

Prior housekeeping knowledge required

Positive attitude, customer service oriented

Self motivated

Minimum 21 yrs of age

Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. and be physically fit

Possess a valid Utah driver’s license

High School diploma required

Bi-lingual Spanish/English helpful but not required

Must be computer literate

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist Operations Manager with training, developing and supervising a highly effective team of Housekeeping personnel, to ensure guest, homeowner and employee satisfaction. Training to include Customer Service, Safety, Departmental Policies and Procedures, job functionality and grooming

Work with Operations Manager to ensure weekly schedules provide quality coverage and effective workflow in Housekeeping and adherence to budgetary guidelines and occupancy levels

Demonstrate proactive guest, homeowner and employee problem resolution with urgency, respect and empathy. Document problems and review in staff meetings

Coach Housekeeping staff in maintaining updated knowledge of housekeeping practices, products, techniques and standards

Inspect all rooms prior to check-in for cleanliness, maintenance and complete supply stocking

Reinforce professionalism of Housekeeping by maintaining a clean, uncluttered and well-supplied workspace and adherence to dress standards

Inspect logbook, inventories, supplies, buildings and payroll reports

Actively participate in any committee meetings asked to attend

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
