This position will report to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs for CEIAS, but will also work closely and in partnership with academic unit chairs and directors, professional staff, faculty, and students in CEIAS and across the University. Building and sustaining collaborative relationships with industry partners will also be a key element of this position. Occasional travel and night and weekend work may be required in this positon. The position's duties include: Foster and maintain positive relationships with industry partners and coordinate their visits and speaking engagements with CEIAS faculty and students.Assist in identifying and coordinating internship opportunities for CEIAS students, including opportunities across disciplines.Organize and support on-campus student interviews with industry partners.Provide support for CEIAS students and industry partners at the NAU Career and Graduate School Fair and other College-specific events.Coordinate and support collaborative career development opportunities with other University units.Offer workshops and presentations on topics that assist students in their professional development, including job application materials preparation and communication skills.Undertaking projects and tasks as directed in support of career development and/or CEIAS operations.
