About the Role: The Medical Products Division is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician in Flagstaff, Arizona to repair, maintain, and modify manufacturing and R&D equipment. Standard hours will be Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., but associate must have flexibility to work overtime and off-shift hours to meet business needs. Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and repairing complex manufacturing equipment within a manufacturing facility, including working in clean rooms labs, etc.Responding to maintenance service calls, performing scheduled and unscheduled work, installations, and enhancements of machinery and equipmentEnsuring Quality System requirements are being metWorking with multiple teams across the division including production, skilled trades and technical associates with the dual purpose of maximizing schedule efficiency and minimizing impact to manufacturingDocumenting all work performed per proceduresFollowing, writing, and revising M&C (maintenance & calibration) standard operating proceduresSupporting other facilities with Electrical Controls Technician needs as necessaryMaintaining compliance with training expectations as required for this position Qualifications Required Qualifications: 2 year technical degree or equivalent educationA minimum of 3 years' experience in a hands-on Electronic Technician roleProficient with:Comprehensive troubleshooting using diagnostics equipment such as digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, amp clamp and calibration tools, electronic devices, solid-state devices, controls including stepper, servo motor systems, oven controls, pneumatics, motors and gear drives, automation, oven controls, water systems, and voltages up to 480 voltsComputer hardware/software for motion control and instrumentation, temperature control systems, motion and motor control systems, and PLC/PC controls.Electrical and mechanical drawings/schematicsEffective oral and written communication skills and proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)Attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressureAvailable and willing to work overtime and off-shift hours to meet customer needsWork independently and within a team environmentWilling and able to work at heights of at least 15 feet, lift 50 lbs., and work in challenging locationsDesired Qualifications:Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorksAbility to spec out electrical components for equipment modification andutilize different programming software (Pro-Worx, Maple Systems, Nematron, Allen-Bradley, etc.)Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry What We Offer: At Gore, we offer comprehensive, competitive rewards in the form of compensation and benefits.
