The Optumcare National team is building an innovative,
comprehensive Epic services capability using the collective
expertise of our clinical, consulting, delivery, technology and
operations teams. We have the ability and scale to help our clients

Clinical
Roles across Ambulatory, Healthy Planet and specialty modules.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise
for assigned Epic module(s)
Collaborate with end users to design, build and optimize their Epic
system in a timely and high-quality manner. Ensure appropriate
decisions, follow-up questions, and workflows/configuration
clarifications are completed and documented.
Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial
requirements to final implementation
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and
manage changes to specifications
Contribute in Epic upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows
including the design, build, and test phases; troubleshoot problems
and questions from end users
Provide Technical / Clinical workflow consultation including
application configuration. Review, analyze, and evaluate system
needs to develop recommendations for customers
Work with trainers to develop and maintain application specific
training curriculum and materials
Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and
change control
Troubleshoot and/or resolve application issues and escalate more
complex issues as appropriate
Determine staffing requirements and supervise the work of any
direct reports to ensure effective and efficient group
functioning
Solves highly complex problems and develops solutions to tasks or
projects which may be unique, using judgment and initiative with
minimal oversight
Engages in multi-team and integrated solution development
Collaborates with vendors and escalates vendor issues as
necessary
Facilitates meetings and provides functionality demonstrations with
minimal oversight
Orients new team members
Responsible to work on an on-call basis for system upgrades, go
lives and to meet ad hoc departmental needs

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Active Epic certifications in Epic Ambulatory module
Completed Epic CEE (Continued Epic Education) to maintain
certifications, proficiencies, and badges
3+ years of work experience within information technology or
applicable area of healthcare.
3+ years of experience with Epic systems build, test, optimization,
support and training with clinical workflows
3+ years of experience using MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
and SharePoint.
Ability to travel 25% of the time e.g. Monday thru Thursday,
depending on the role and project requirement
Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses
must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group

all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range
for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for
Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based
on several factors including but not limited to education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
