About the Role: We are looking for a Multi-Craft Technician to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will repair and maintain manufacturing and Research & Development equipment.

This role will be located in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Please note that evening, night and weekend shift positions are eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment within a clean room and supporting infrastructure
  • Respond to maintenance service calls, perform scheduled and unscheduled work, installations, and enhancements of machinery and equipment
  • Ensure Quality System requirements are being met
  • Work with multiple teams across the division including production, skilled trades and technical Associates while maximizing schedule efficiency and minimizing impact to manufacturing
  • Document work performed per procedures
  • Support other facilities as required
  • Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position
  • Additional responsibilities as required within the scope of this position

    Required Qualifications:
    • Completion of an apprentice program or 2-year technical degree or minimum of 2 years equivalent experience in repairing, maintenance and/or calibration of equipment
    • Experience with at least 2 of the following: Pneumatics, motors and gear drives/controls, automation, temperature controls, water systems, pumps, and Programmable Logic Controller
    • Electrical experience up to and including 208 volts, and understand basic electronics/electrical theory
    • Troubleshoot and repair of equipment (production equipment preferred)
    • Solid understanding of the use of power tools and shop practices
    • Computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Maintenance Management Systems, Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
    • Working knowledge of electrical mechanical drawings/schematics and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, timers, calipers, etc.)
    • Ability and willingness to work at heights of at least 15ft, lift 50 lbs. and work in challenging locations
    • Ability to work weekends and off-hours to meet customer needs
    • Ability and willingness to travel 5%
